Welcome back to another Made in Manitoba, and this weekend it's another debut as we welcome Winnipeg's Rachel Colman as she shares her first full-length album "Make A Way".
After growing up in the Altona area, followed by time at Briercrest College, she worked in a number of churches in a Praise and Worship leader role. After getting married, her husband began the process of becoming an Anglican priest which prompted a move to Toronto for a few years. That was followed by the couple returning to Manitoba about two years ago, and now calling our provincial capital home.
It was her late father's bringing her up in Praise and Worship from the age of six which first planted the seed that developed into her passion of leading others in praising the Lord through song.
Tonight on Made in Manitoba Rachel Colman will share how she went from those early days of spending time at church with her parents, to writing music and lyrics sharing her Faith story. "Make A Way" brings together pieces of living, liturgy, and scripture to life in song, and we're excited to share it with you.
