Country 94.1 is partnering with the Swift Current Broncos to throw a legendary Country Night Friday at the rink.
From country music to cowboy hats and boots to giveaways and games - this is just a glimpse at the fun scheduled as the Broncos entertain their rival, the Regina Pats at the InnovationPlex.
"We'd love to see you out there," said Broncos Broadcast & Community Relations Manager Gino De Paoli. "Bring out your best western duds. We know it was a really well-attended game last year. This is the first of two country nights coming up here."
Country 94.1 will have a booth setup in the lobby with tunes blaring... but the biggest thing we'll have is a free draw for a chance to win a $3,000 snowblower. Tyler Lemieux, general manager at Swift Current's Canadian Tire, said the EGO 56V Self-Propelled Two-Stage Cordless Snow Blower with Peak Power is in a league of its own.
"This is the peak snowthrower in the EGO line," he said. "Their new 56-volt platform is amazing, it's beating gas-powered models in pretty much all the specs. This thing will throw snow 60 feet, it's pretty epic.
"A lot of people are worried with battery, it's not going to have longevity and I'm going to have to keep charging but this thing can clear a 32 car driveway on one charge. I don't know many people in Swift (Current) with that size of driveway."
Aside from the mega snowblower, the first 80 kids to stop by our booth will receive a Country 94.1 mini stick. More prizes will be available at intermission with country-themed games, and to be eligible for one of them you'll need a cowboy hat.
Tonight's broadcast begins on Country 94.1 at 6:45 pm with Redhead Equipment Case IH Broncos Hockey.
