Grace Penner, 67, of Steinbach passed away Thursday, November 21st at the Health Science Centre, Winnipeg. She is survived by 2 daughters, 3 granddaughters, 2 sisters, one brother and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, parents, 1 brother and 1 sister.
The funeral service for Grace Penner will be held Tuesday, November 26th 1pm at Southland Church, 190 PTH 52 W, Steinbach with burial at Heritage Cemetery, Steinbach.
Viewing will be at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach Monday from 7pm-8pm and prior to the service.
Arrangements by Birchwood Funeral Chapel Co-op.
Donations may be made to Operation Christmas Child.
Family Tribute
Eight wonderful years after her aneurysm, Grace Penner, age 67, died suddenly, yet peacefully at Health Science Centre, Winnipeg, MB., on Thursday, November 21, 2024.
She is survived by her daughters Crystal (Henry), Jennifer (Steve), granddaughters Rhiana, Emily and Kaitlyn, two sisters, one brother and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Grace was predeceased by her beloved husband Harold Penner, parents Henry & Elizabeth Brandt, one sister and one brother.
Grace was a woman who loved deeply and with her whole heart. She spent many hours with Jesus and the Bible. Her family came next. Harold meant the world to her. Grace’s granddaughters held a very special place in her heart. Being with them meant everything to her. In summer you could often find her camping or by a fire. During the winter, you could find her working on some kind of crafts like sewing or scrapbooking. Grace will be forever loved and missed.
The come and go viewing will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024, from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.
The funeral service for Grace will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Southland Church, 190 PTH 52 W, Steinbach, MB., with interment to follow at Heritage Cemetery, Steinbach, MB.
If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Grace may be made to Operation Christmas Child.
