Residents are reminded to keep sidewalks clear within 24 hours of snowfall, as per the Community Standards Bylaw. Snow should be kept on your property, not on the streets.
Noise restrictions exist for snow blowers between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. (until 9 a.m. on Sundays).
The City’s 24/7 snow clearing focuses on priority roads, with residential streets addressed when impassable. Plowing begins once snow reaches 5 centimeters, prioritizing high-traffic areas.
Residents are encouraged to park off-street quickly, clear sidewalks, and avoid piling snow on roads.
