On Friday night, they were defeated by the Ice Wolves 2-1.
La Ronge netminder Graham Brown made 51 saves against the Broncos.
Gabriel Filion scored the lone goal for Humboldt.
Taite Donkin and Mason Bueckert scored for La Ronge.
Edouard Gauthier made 21 saves for the Broncos.
Humboldt was 1/ 4 on the power play, while La Ronge was 0/5.
In the second game between the two teams on Saturday, the Broncos bounced back with a 4-2 win.
Marek Mamic scored two goals including a shorthanded marker.
Josh Sale and Connor Miller also found the back of the net.
Jacob Strizzi had a pair of assists.
Gauthier received the start for the second game and made 47 saves in the victory.
The special teams story was the exact same on Saturday, Humboldt was 1/ 4 on the power play, while La Ronge was 0/5.
Humboldt’s next action is on Wednesday, when they head to Wilcox to meet the Notre Dame Hounds. The Broncos will travel to Weyburn for a Friday night matchup against the Red Wings.
On Saturday, the Broncos are back on home ice at the Elgar Petersen Arena, when they welcome in the Nipawin Hawks.
