Jelly Roll recently joined Brooks & Dunn for a special performance at the 2024 CMA awards.
The band alongside their special guest, Jelly Roll, sang "Believe" bringing the crowd to their feet in worship.
Throughout the performance, Jelly Roll lifted his hand in praise. The cameras also showed the crowd wiping away tears and raising their hands in worship.
As the song ended, Jelly Roll pointed above him and said "I love you, Lord."
Jelly Roll experienced plenty of trauma in his childhood, serving time in prison when he was just 14. He has since turned his life around, finding God along the way.
"God never called the equipped. God always equipped the call," he explained at the 2024 CMT Music Awards. "I think that I am a living manifestation of that."
He now calls himself 'God's least likely messenger.'
