Foggy conditions and icy roads are expected tonight, with poor visibility in some areas. Cloudy skies, a slight chance of flurries, and fog patches are in the forecast, with temperatures plunging to -22°C and wind chills near -27°C.
Friday morning may bring flurries and lingering fog, clearing to a mix of sun and cloud by late morning. The high will reach -12°C, with a brisk south wind in the afternoon and wind chills easing to -19°C.
Looking ahead, a warming trend starts Monday, with temperatures climbing to +2°C and peaking at seven °C by Tuesday before cooling slightly midweek.
Currently, the QEII near Airdrie has poor visibility, icy sections, and black ice, while Calgary roads, including Deerfoot, remain snowy and foggy.
