A Monday night collision southwest of Airdrie, which shut down a portion of the road, has been cleared.
On Monday night, Mounties confirmed that responders were on the scene of a two-vehicle head-on collision on Township Road 264 and Range Road 11, just southwest of Airdrie, just south of the intersection.

Traffic was re-directed, but the road has since re-opened.
Just after 9 on Monday night, STARS air ambulance tweeted that it was dispatched to an emergency scene call in the Airdrie area. Mounties confirmed that STARS air ambulance transported an individual in serious condition from the collision scene to the hospital.
