Former NFL player Randy Moss is asking for prayers as he battles an ongoing health issue.
The former New England Patriots player turned ESPN Sunday NFL Countdown host was bombarded with messages after a recent broadcast in which Moss' eyes are yellow.
"You were talking about my eyes last week," said Moss in a post on Instagram. "I just want to let the viewers know that me and my wife, me and my family, we are battling something internally."
Moss says he has some great doctors surrounding him, but he is asking for prayers as he faces the journey ahead of him.
"I just ask for all the prayer warriors to put their blessing hands on me and my family through these hard times," said Moss. "God bless you all. I'm going to get through it"
Moss encouraged everyone to get their checkups and blood work done. He says for now, he is keeping the nature of his health issue private.
