A man from Morden has a January court date after police were called to a reported assault at his home at the end of November.
Officers arrived at around 4:30 a.m. and, after speaking with the woman in the home, learned the man, who is her husband, had hit her in the face. The husband was arrested and lodged in police cells until sober.
A 23-year-old woman was arrested and lodged in police cells until sober after Morden police responded to a disturbance at another home.
When they got there, they say they found the woman highly intoxicated. The owners indicated she was no longer welcome at the home.
She was later released without charges.
Another early morning call saw police arrest a 32-year-old man after being called to a home where they say he was intoxicated and talking nonsensical.
He was lodged in cells until sober and later released without charges.
