Prayers have been pouring in for Phil Robertson from Duck Dynasty following news that he is facing multiple health problems.
The 78-year-old's son, Jase, shared on Unashamed with the Robertson Family last week that his father's health is declining. "Phil's not doing well. We were trying to figure out the diagnosis, but according to the doctors, they are sure that he has some sort of blood disease causing all kinds of problems.”
Jase went on to say that his father has the early stages of Alzheimer’s. "We’ve got a team of doctors, and then we have another set of doctors who are looking at all the tests, and they’re all in agreement that there’s no curing what he has.”
Despite not being able to walk without extreme pain, Jase said Phil is hopeful about returning and hosting the podcast.
Several people have sent public messages to the Robertson's. Samaritan's Purse CEO Franklin Graham posted on X inviting his followers to pray for Robertson and his family.
Would you join me in praying for Phil Robertson, his wife Miss Kay, and their family? Phil is having serious health issues. I’ve appreciated Phil’s bold faith in Jesus Christ and the way he points to God’s Word.
