This year’s Staff Christmas Party at Full Force Ventures may have been cancelled due to bad weather and treacherous roads, but what could have been a disappointment turned into a chance to spread some holiday cheer in a much more meaningful way.

The Christmas party for 200 people was planned to be held at Nitehawk Year-Round Adventure Park, with a full Turkey dinner prepared by the Nitehawk staff.

Instead of letting the food from the cancelled dinner go to waste, they partnered with Wapiti House to bring some Christmas joy to those in need.

Jonathan Clarkson, Nitehawk General Manager says, “We worked with them to package up all the food, and so we sent a dinner for 200 to Wapiti House. Full Force Ventures picked it up and delivered it there.”

A moment of misfortune became an opportunity to give back to the community. A moment that was extremely meaningful to both Full Force Ventures as well as Nitehawk.

Clarkson says, “It’s a real feel-good moment here as we move into the next week, and you know that Christmas spirit really kicking in. That spirit of giving you know I think is so needed right now. There are so many people less fortunate that can benefit from that.”
