On Friday, November 15, 2024, at approximately 1:00 a.m., Grande Prairie RCMP Crime Reduction Unit conducted a traffic stop on 94 Avenue Willow drive. During the traffic stop, multiple identity documents and mail belonging to multiple people that weren’t the female driver and sole occupant of the vehicle were located. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the additional seizure of break-in tools.
Vanessa Jordan (44) a resident of Grande Prairie, has been charged with:
-Unlawful possession of identity documents (Two counts)
-Possession of fraudulent documents
-Possession of break-in tools
-Breach of a probation order (Two counts)
-Operating a motor vehicle while suspended
Jordan was held in custody for a release hearing where she was subsequently released to later appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in Grande Prairie on December 16, 2024.
