The final numbers for the Hockey for Hunger initiative are in.
Students with Crowther Memorial Junior High School, Wheatland County fire departments, and Wheatland EMS collected 774 pounds of food and hygiene items, along with $560 in monetary donations for the Wheatland County Food Bank.
The program showcased Crowther students playing a fun game of hockey while raising funds and donations for a good cause.
"Thank you all so much for your support and helping us give back to the community this holiday season," wrote Wheatland EMS in a Facebook post.
