One person was transported to hospital with fire-related injuries following a fire at Capone’s Hideaway Motel in downtown Moose Jaw late Friday night, said the Moose Jaw Police Service (MJPS) in a release Saturday morning.
The MJPS says no other injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency in conjunction with the Moose Jaw Fire Department (MJFD).
The MJFD told Discover Moose Jaw that three fire trucks and 11 personnel attend the fire but were unable to provide further details this morning.
The police service said the call came in at 11:10 p.m. Friday night and that the MJFD were able to contain and extinguish the fire.
Swift Current Online will provide further details when they become available.
