Wheatland County responds to railroad crossing issues

Wheatland County announced several railroad crossing malfunctions on the morning of Tuesday (Dec. 17).

According to a post on the county's Facebook page, Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) advised them of the malfunctions, which are located at:

• Range Road 270 near Township Road 222, east of Dalemead.
• Range Road 264, near Township Road 221A, west of Carseland.

CPKC continues to work on the railroad crossings, and Wheatland County will share updates as they become available.
