Another great weekend of puck is coming up around west-central Saskatchewan, but this week's focus is on another local area team in the Perdue Pirates of the Saskatchewan Prairie Hockey League.
They are promoting their next home game hard as Pirates' team executive Grant Eaton shared the following news in an email.
"Next action for Perdue is at home this Saturday Dec 21 at 8:30 versus the Langham Vikings. It will be Fan Appreciation Night with a wing & pizza social immediately following the game at the Perdue Complex."
The Pirates are coming off a win in their last game played Wednesday against the Radisson Wheatkings. The result moved them into first place in the league's East Division, two points ahead of the Battleford Blues entering the weekend.
