The City of Grande Prairie has lifted parking bans on permanent snow routes (Priority 1 and 2 roads) as of 10:30 a.m. this morning. Thank you to all residents who adhered to these restrictions and supported efficient snow removal.

Temporary parking bans remain in effect for Friday, Week A neighbourhoods today while residential snow clearing crews complete work in the area. These temporary bans are in place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Non-compliance with parking bans can cause delays and result in ticketing. We encourage all residents to review the parking ban guidelines to prepare for future snow events and support timely snow removal.

While parking bans are lifted, snow crews will still be active sanding and patrolling the city. Please give our snow crews space and stay three car lengths behind equipment when on the road.

For more information on snow removal and parking bans, visit cityofgp.com/snow and stay updated on snow removal operations by signing up for email and text messaging alerts through the City’s website.
