UPDATE: Holiday travellers facing QEII slow downs due to collisions

If you are headed north this weekend for the holidays you could be in store for some slow downs.

Alberta RCMP advises of poor driving conditions on the QE II Highway between Leduc and Red Deer. RCMP have responded to several QE II collisions throughout the morning.

Icy patches were contributing to poor road conditions and they say travel is not recommended.
