Agra Risk Wheatland Kings break single season record for most wins

The Junior B Agra Risk Wheatland Kings have been roaring along in 2024 and have now broken a record for most wins in a season.

The Kings won 8-3 over the Mountain View Colts on Friday (Dec. 20) and are now 19-5-1 and in second place in the division behind the Carstar Okotoks Bisons.

The team was also supposed to play the High River Flyers on Saturday (Dec. 21), but the game was postponed due to issues with the building in High River.

"We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. The game will be rescheduled for a later date in the new year," mentioned General Manager Cody Holdaway.

The Kings are back in the new year on January 3, 2025, for a game versus the Cannex Cochrane Generals at 8 p.m.
