Ringette tournament arriving in Strathmore for 2025

A ringette tournament is coming to Strathmore next year.

The Strathmore Minor Ringette Association (SMRA) is bringing its annual Laurie Morton Rupp Memorial Tournament to town between January 24 and 26.

According to the association, the tournament will feature 40 teams, with ages ranging between 4 and 19, and the public is invited to attend.

Applications for the tournament ended on November 10, with teams being notified of their acceptance just a few days later.

In the meantime, the association has 10 teams on its roster and is looking for volunteers, who would provide a range of roles from organizing to coaching.
