A year has passed since you left Dad and I.
Our hearts still ache with sadness, and our secret tears still flow.
What it means to lose you no - one will ever know.
All we have are memories and your picture displayed in a frame.
Your memory is a keepsake, from which we will never part.
God has you in his arms and we have you in our hearts.
Dad trolls by many times this summer and stops to have a chat with you; mainly talk about how good the fishing has been.
Then fall came too quick, the final ride for the season, see you in the spring never a wave goodbye.
I hope you are embracing your Grandpa, Uncle David and Uncle Trevor.
Love always
Mom and Dad
