Rising Above officially broke ground this afternoon to begin construction on their new recovery facility.
Executive Director Mel Siggelkow, along with Rising Above Board Members, Staff, Supporters, Dignitaries, Participants, and family & friends attended the groundbreaking ceremony.
Following the outside ceremony, there were refreshments and opportunities to learn more about the project.
The facility will add 19 beds, increasing their total capacity to 70, and will include on-site housing for women.
Construction is expected to take 12 to 18 months, with completion projected by early 2026.
Thanks to the generosity of supporters, 70% of the fundraising goal has already been reached.
A Free Public Engagement Session will take place on January 8 at 7pm at the Rising Above Park Campus for people to learn more about the new facility and the vital services they offer.
