Zegil Automotive & Transmission is looking for a few things to add to its fifth annual Car Show.
According to a Facebook post, the company is looking for face painters, balloon animals, and a petting zoo for the show.
"We're just looking to expand. We had a pretty large presence last year," said Cassidy Davies, lead service writer with Zegil. "It makes it so that there's something for everyone, not just cars to look at. We want to involve everybody."
The company added that they will be donating the money from the car show, so those interested in helping out will be volunteering their time.
"Last year we put out a form, and people would fill it out giving some information on their organization, and we did it that way just so we could broaden and see who else needs some extra help."
Other attractions at the car show include door prizes, food trucks, raffles, a market, and an award ceremony.
"We think it's important to bring our community together for everything, bringing the whole family out," added Davies. "We understand that sometimes you can't afford to go and spend a bunch of money going to do something, so this is just a nice event where people can come and walk around."
The car show is always looking for more volunteers. Anyone interested in helping can reach out to Zegil Automotive by calling the shop at 403-542-3341.
The car show is made in partnership with Pure Country Meats and runs on July 5 at the Strathmore Ag Grounds.
