Despite the warm weather, snowfall and strong winds are expected in Strathmore over the weekend.
According to our forecast, Friday (Jan. 10) brings in rain during the afternoon with 40 km/h winds and a daytime high of 3°C.
As the day turns to night there will be cloudy skies, more rain, and the wind will pick up to 50 km/h alongside a daytime high of -1°C that feels closer to -8°C with the windchill.
Saturday remains cloudy and windy with more flurries and a high of 2°C but with a windchill of -8°C.
As for Sunday, the wind is expected to die down albeit with more snow and a high of -1°C.
The forecast claims that next week will be warming up with daytime highs above freezing.
