The Saskatchewan Rush are pleased to announce a new partnership with Golden West Broadcasting to extend our radio coverage of away games across the province.
The partnership features seven away games being broadcast with live play-by-play on CJYM/CFYM. Fans will be able to tune in to all the action on the road, starting with the pre-game show and closing with the fan-driven interactive post-game show.
Cody Janzen is back for his fourth season as the club's play-by-play announcer, taking you through every goal, hit, and save throughout the season. Janzen will also serve as the voice of the Rush during home games, which will be featured on TSN.
“We’re thrilled to add our partnership with Golden West Broadcasting. Lacrosse has been a fast-growing sport gaining popularity in West Central Saskatchewan, and the Rush have enjoyed huge fan support, especially from West Central communities. We know CJYM/CFYM will deliver unmatched coverage of the Rush this coming season,” said Tyler Wawryk, Rush VP, Team Business Operations. “It’s a big province, and many of us spend a lot of time on the highway and in our vehicles, so to be able to have our games on the air is the best way to keep our fans up to date while the team is on the road.”
The first road radio broadcast of the year on CJYM/CFYM will be on Saturday, January 18th, in Toronto, when the Saskatchewan Rush face the Rock early in this 2025 NLL season.
"We are huge fans of the Rush—not just for the great entertainment they provide but also excited for the growing fan base in this part of Saskatchewan. Golden West Broadcasting continues to strive at providing great local and provincial content relevant to our audience, and to offer broadcasts of this successful Saskatchewan professional sports team is very exciting," said Glenn Rogers, Golden West's Content Lead for Saskatchewan.
Lacrosse fans around the province can listen to CJYM/CFYM for full coverage starting 15 minutes before the faceoff.
In addition to the radio broadcast deal, fans will still be able to watch Rush games on NLL+ and TSN+ as in previous years.
Tickets are available at SaskRush.com for all seven remaining home games on Co-op Field at SaskTel Centre.
