The warning and advisory were issued by Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) on Thursday afternoon as 90 km/h winds came to Wheatland County along with light flurries.
The weather also affected the areas of Strathmore, Lyalta, and Carseland.
Local RCMP advised residents of extremely poor driving conditions overnight due to the snow and wind.
