Siksika Nation ready to hit the ice for hockey fundraiser

Siksika Nation is hosting a special night of hockey at the Deerfoot Sportsplex.

According to a news release, members of the Siksika Buffaloes will take on first responders from the nation during the friendly game.

The event runs on Friday (Feb. 7) with the opening ceremony starting at 7:45 p.m. and puck drop going at 8 p.m.

Staff with Siksika say fundraising for the initiative will help out Siksika Nation High School Grade 9 grads.
