Youth male arrested for tire slashings in Grande Prairie

Grande Prairie RCMP would like to advise that following the numerous reports of tires being slashed, a subsequent investigation resulted in the identification and arrest of a youth male.

The 14-year-old youth resident of Grande Prairie who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act was charged with:

-Mischief under $5000 (Total of 23 counts)
-Fail to comply with release order
-Fail to comply with court order

Following a judicial hearing, the youth was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in Grande Prairie on February 3, 2025.
