Trio charged in Altona assault

Three people were arrested by Altona police after assaulting a man in his home last week. 
    
According to the Altona Police Service's latest activities report, the trio went to the man's apartment and an argument broke out. That's when police say the man was assaulted. 

Officers later found the three culprits - two women aged 21 and 38, and a 25-year-old man.

They have all been charged with assault and released with a future court date.

Also highlighted in the department's latest activities report, a 38-year-old man was brought to hospital last week Friday after he was found lying in the snow in the northwest corner of Altona. According to police, he was unresponsive.
    
Officers covered him with a blanket until paramedics arrived.
