The OPP has confirmed one fatality and four injuries following a collision on Highway 17 on Sunday evening.
Kenora OPP Detachment Commander, Inspector Jeff Duggan, says on Sunday evening at approximately 7:30 p.m., emergency services responded to a two-vehicle collision near the Redden's Store on the east highway.
"As a result of the vehicle collision, we have one fatality, one person transported [to the hospital] in critical condition, and three people treated and released from the hospital," said Inspector Duggan.
The cause of the collision is unknown and under investigation.
