Former Warriors president Barry Webster has died

Friends, family and the Moose Jaw hockey community are mourning the loss of Barry Webster.

According to his obituary, Webster passed away on Friday.

A founding member of the Moose Jaw Warriors, Webster served as the team's president for multiple terms. He was the first to be inducted into the team's Hall of Fame in the builders category.

Funeral service plans have yet to be made public. People wishing to honour Webster's legacy are asked to donate to The Children's Tumor Foundation in his name.
