FREE Family Day activities in Grande Prairie February 16

The City of Grande Prairie invites the community to take part in Family Day celebrations, presented by New Horizon Co-op, with free activities at the Eastlink Centre and Design Works Centre on Sunday, February 16.

The free event features Family Day favourites and various new activities including:

• Full facility access.
• Fieldhouse activities including soccer dart board, bouncy castle and games.
• Wibit inflatable obstacle course in the 50 Metre Competition Pool.
• Skating and rentals at Design Works Centre from 2:15 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• eSport Game Lounge in the Legend’s Lounge at Design Works Centre.
• Site-wide scavenger hunt.
• Treat decorating.
• Quiet crafty corner.
• Snacks and prizes.

All Family Day activities are free and open to all ages, available from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Eastlink Centre aquatics is unavailable for public access from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. to reset the aquatics area following the Family Day event and re-opens for public swim from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
