As Saskatchewan plunges into the deep freeze this weekend, the Rush will be in sunny San Diego for a Saturday NLL matchup against the Seals.
The Rush beat the Albany Firewolves 17-13 last Saturday in what was an exciting night at the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon. The Rush made a fourth quarter push to take the four-goal win, but the biggest story on the night was the emergence of 20-year-old goaltender Thomas Kiazyk who stepped up and turned in a big performance to help the Rush to their fifth win on the season.

At 5-2, the Rush are tied for second in the league standings with the Philadelphia Wings, the Buffalo Bandits in first at 5-0. Saskatchewan's opponent this week the Seals are 3-4 on the year and are coming off a bye week.
Saturday's game also marks the second Rush broadcast on Golden West Radio networks. Airing on Classic Hits 1330 & 1210, it will be a late one as Cody Janzen fires up the pre-game show at 8:45, the ball dropping at 9:00 PM from America's finest city.
