Here are five fun things to do to spice up your weekend:
Mad Hatters Cornhole Club: Join the Mad Hatters Cornhole Club for some friendly games. Equipment will be provided; you just have to pay a $20 entrance fee to compete. The event runs on Sunday (Feb. 2) at 2 p.m. at the Trinity Christmas Academy.
The Lions Regional Outdoor Rink: The Strathmore outdoor rink recently re-opened after being closed due to warm weather conditions. Make a cup of hot chocolate, grab a pair of skates, and head over to the rink for some fun ice skating.
The Vault Cultural Collective: The Vault is hosting guest speaker Alan Dyer who will take the audience on a visual tour of the sky. Registration is free and people can pick up tickets at The Vault. The event is happening Friday (Jan. 31) at 7 p.m.
Groundhog Day Breakfast: Kick off February at the Blue Grass Garden Centre and enjoy a free breakfast to celebrate Groundhog Day. Go meet Balzac Billy, the groundhog mascot, and enjoy the event on Sunday (Feb. 2) from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Wine & Paint Night: The Wheatland Society of Arts is hosting a wine and paint night where people can enhance their art skills and meet new friends.
