One Strathmore Special Olympian was helping to serve up smiles at the Tim Hortons drive-thru in Edgefield.
From dreams to gold, Emma Bittorf shared her passion for the sports she loves.
"I've been doing Special Olympics since I was about eight years old and it's a great organization because you get to meet friends," mentioned Bittorf.
She has won gold medals in figure skating and golf, along with bronze and silver medals in the sports.

"I won my medals for figure skating in 2020 and then I won another medal in 2019 in Calgary, and I've won other medals in golfing,' added Bittorf.
The athlete competes in various sports such as figure skating, swimming, skiing, golfing, and bowling.
"It feels amazing because you get to meet friends, you get to go to different countries and it's just so fun," said Bittorf.
The star added that Special Olympics gave her the confidence she needed to meet genuine friends.
"When I was younger, I would be scared, and people would laugh at me because I have special needs."
Bittorf explained that she is working hard to get onto Team Canada and looks forward to competing again.
