Golden Hills School Division (GHSD) has selected two women to fill two positions later this summer.

According to the division, Jody Lammle is now the Director of Human Resources and Linda Tucker will take the role of Director of Learning.

"Jody holds a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Lethbridge and will be graduating this year with a Masters of Education - Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Calgary," mentioned a release.

Staff with the organization said Lammle has been the Principal of Trochu Valley School since the 2020/21 school year.

"Prior to this, she was an Instructional Coach where she worked with teachers in the areas of planning, instruction, assessment, critical thinking, information technology, and classroom management. We believe that her experience, knowledge, skills, and insight in the areas of leadership, strategic instruction, and evidence-informed decision-making will serve her well in the role of a system-wide educational leader."

Tucker has a Bachelor of Education Degree and a Master's in Education from the University of Calgary and is working on getting a Diploma of Global Leadership from Royal Roads University.

"Linda has been a School Administrator with Golden Hills since 2001, with her most recent role as Principal of Crowther Memorial Junior High School since 2016. She has also been the Coordinator of Project Hope since 2013 and was the Regional Manager for the RCSD Central East Region for the 2013/2014 school year," mentioned the division.

Both women will start on August 15.
