Charlene was born on February 26, 1982 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. She started her life on the ranch north of Bracken, Saskatchewan. Two and a half years later her little brother Darwin joined the family and Charlene was very protective of him from day one. Always trying to take care of him, keeping him quite amused and if Darwin cried she cried.
In July 1985 the family moved to Swift Current, then in October 1985 to Beverley, Saskatchewan. Charlene attended school in Swift Current until our move to Sherwood Park, Alberta in 1991. She was very upset to leave friends behind, but very quickly we had a house full of girls. In 1995 the family moved back to Swift Current and this upset Charlene again, but as before she made new friends very soon.
Charlene worked part-time jobs during high school. After graduation in 2000 she was full-time at the Wholesale Club but soon enrolled at the Cypress Hills College in the Office Education program graduating with honors. She worked for Domco, Big Eagle, and Frontier Builders until her move to Saskatoon in 2013. With Charlene’s strong work ethic, and beautiful personality, she was soon working at SMS Equipment where she treasured her co-workers who were her family away from home.
At the age of 19 she became interested in the gym and soon began competing in provincial bodybuilding events and went on to Nationals. Charlene enjoyed motivating other people to work out and soon attained her Personal Training certificate. Charlene was a strong, independent, beautiful woman who was dedicated to her family, friends, her job, and her gym life.
Please join us in celebrating Charlene’s life on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. from the Legion Hall in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.
