Grande Prairie RCMP have responded to 2 reports of robberies at the same business in the area of 100 Avenue, Grande Prairie and are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects.
On Jan. 22, 2025, at approximately 7:00 P.M., an unknown male was able to enter the business and had a large knife; the male made way with a large amount of jewelry from the location after assaulting an employee and damaging a display case.
The male is described as:
- Approximately 5 foot 7 inches tall
- Long red and black hair
- Wearing a multicoloured bandana over the face, white sweater, a green winter jacket and a black bag
On Jan. 31, 2025, at approximately 6:45 P.M., an unknown male was able to enter the business and had a handgun; the male made way with a jewelry from the location.
The male is described as:
- Approximately 5 foot 7 to 9 inches tall
- Wearing a tan coloured jacket, blue jeans and a white face mask
- Medium complexion
This investigation is still ongoing and RCMP are requesting footage from any local businesses, or community members within these areas:
- 102 Street to 99 Street, and 101 Avenue to 99 Street
- on Jan. 22, 2025 from 6:20 P.M. and 7:20 P.M, and Jan. 31, 2025 from 6:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M.
