It's certainly interesting how some of us meet our significant others.
Sharilee entered our We Love love contest and told us all about how her and Ron met:
"Back before internet dating was really much of a thing there were personal ads in the Western Producer. I was actually looking to get another dog so I'd started browsing the "pet" section and noticed there was a "personal ad" section on the same page. Ron's ad caught my eye right away as someone I might like to meet so I wrote him a letter - that was the only way to answer a personal ad at the time - and he wrote back to me."
After over 20 years together Sharilee has alot to love about Ron:
"Ron is kind, thoughtful, funny and an amazing husband. I truly enjoy spending time with him now just as much as I did when we first met. Having him by my side we've gone through tragedy and so much happiness together. He's the first person I want to talk to about anything, good or bad. We still tell each other "I love you" a few times a day and we follow the advice of "Always kiss each other goodnight." I hope that we have so many more years together because there's still so much for us to experience together."
