Real Canadian Wrestling (RCW) returned to Strathmore for the first time in 2025 on Friday (Feb. 7).

The event saw an increased production value with spotlights and sparks, culminating in a barbed-wire baseball bat match between Steve Wilde and Moondog Manson.

"I've wrestled for 36 years all over the world and I haven't seen a crowd that engaged, that electric, in years," said Wilde. "It motivates me to put my boots on whenever I get in the ring in Strathmore."

There were several recurring wrestlers at the show, including Machete and Ginha, with the latter disrupting the title match between Manson and Wilde.

Several belts were up for grabs at the show.

Despite being outnumbered and bloodied from the barbed wire, Wilde defeated both Ginha and Moondog to end the night.

"They tried to bring in a second guy and interfere but luckily I got one back on him and the feud came to an end as I beat Moondog in the middle of the ring clean," added Wilde.

Another notable match was a triple threat between Rhea Von Slasher, Kat Von Heez, and Steve Rivers for the women's division belt. Despite Rivers being a man, he found himself in possession of the belt before being pinned mere seconds into the match.

Kat Von Heez and Rhea Von Slasher were the penultimate match at RCW's show.

"Kat and Rhea put on a good match, and the belt made it back to one of the ladies."

As for what comes next, RCW will be back on March 22 in Strathmore with another night of wrestling, this time featuring former WWE wrestler Eugene. There will be a meet and greet for fans who purchase advanced tickets.
