Cancelled: Third Youth Writers' Night will let young storytellers shine

The Youth Writers night on Feb.12 has been cancelled.

It started with a poetry slam and followed up with an adult writers’ night. Now it’s time for young writers to shine in the spotlight. 

Youth Writers’ Night takes the stage at the Humboldt and District Gallery. Last year showcased a half-dozen talented writers and their work. For some, this will be the first time reading or reciting work that has deep personal meaning for each presenter. It’s a passion, and often a solitary pursuit, so it’s great that the writers have a chance to gather, get to know each other, and support each other in their craft.
