Families in Estevan are in for a treat as the Estevan Early Years Family Resource Centre brings back its highly anticipated Bouncy Castle Morning on Thursday, February 20.
Held at the Wylie Mitchell Building from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., the event will feature an exciting lineup of inflatables, including two large bouncy castles, one medium-sized castle, and a toddler-friendly inflatable. The event is free to attend and offers a fun-filled way for families to enjoy the school break.
Misty Pennington, director of programs and community engagement with the Estevan Early Years Family Resource Centre, shared her enthusiasm about the event on SUN102. "Last year, it was a great event, so we decided to do it again. It’s come-and-go, so families can stop by whenever it works for them. And, super exciting, we’re going to have Skye and Chase on-site," she said.
The addition of popular Paw Patrol characters Skye and Chase is sure to delight young attendees, adding an extra layer of excitement to the morning’s activities.
The Family Resource Centre’s commitment to offering free programming is made possible through various fundraising efforts. One current initiative is the Kids Estevan Experience package, available for $35. These packages include a swimming pass, two bowling games with shoe rentals, a movie pass, and a mini-golf session at Hidden Valley, all valid through 2025 for children 12 and under. Funds raised from these packages help support community events like Bouncy Castle Morning.
