Strathmore to be gripped by extreme cold temperatures Saturday night

Strathmore is about to be gripped by extreme cold reaching up to -45 with the wind chill on Saturday night.

"Wind chill values will moderate somewhat during the daytime hours. These extremely cold wind chills will continue into early next week before coming to an end," says a news release from Environment and Climate Change Canada.

The organization said residents should dress warm and in layers if they plan to go out as frostbite can develop within minutes.
