Brooks RCMP recently confiscated a large number of cigarette cartons on their way to Alberta.
On Thursday, Feb. 13 police were called to a local businesses following reports of a suspicious truck in the area.
An RCMP new release said officers seized over 36,000 cartons of cigarettes when they stopped the vehicle.
Two people were arrested and released without charges. The investigation is ongoing.
