Fans of The Chosen will soon have a new place to watch their favourite show.

Dallas Jenkins announced this weekend that they have partnered with Prime Video as their third-party streaming home.

"I want to let you know after exploring multiple options and taking a long time to explore every option and to think through this and pray through this, we've decided on Prime Video and Amazon MGM studios as the exclusive third-party home of our current show," said Jenkins.

Prime Video has been granted a 90-day exclusivity window after each theatrical release in the U.S., with potential plans to release Joseph as an Amazon Original.

"They will help to finance allowing us to bring out the show while we're still working on the current show," Dallas explained.

Amazon MGM Studios will also hold the theatrical distribution rights to the last two seasons of The Chosen

"For several years, the team at Amazon MGM Studios has proved over and over they’re passionate about this show and our fans,” said Jenkins. “They’re going to make us better and get the show to more people, and I can’t wait to build this relationship."

Meanwhile, Prime Video has also picked up a new series from 5&2 Studios called The Chosen in the Wild with Bear Grylls.

The Chosen will stream exclusively on Prime Video in the U.S. starting in June. It will also stream on a non-exclusive basis in Canada and other parts of the world later this year.
