It's almost playoff time for the Agra Risk Wheatland Kings and that means fans will be flooding the Strathmore Family Centre Arena this weekend.
The Kings will battle the Medicine Hat Cubs in the first game of five on Saturday, Feb 22 at 8 p.m.
The Strathmore-based team is offering free entry to all their playoff games to students.
General Manager for the Kings, Cody Holdaway said they came up with the idea to support youth in the community.
"We don't need to nickel and dime our youth, so we're just proud to offer free admission to students for the entire playoff run."
Holdaway explained to StrathmoreNow that no matter what happens moving forward the team has had a great year.
"I think we have a playoff team, and I definitely think that this is our year."
The Kings finished second in the division behind the Carstar Okotoks Bisons.
