Immanuel Fellowship Church in south Winnipeg is hosting a worship concert event, inviting people to 'Come and See' God for themselves.
"We are having a gathering of believers from all over the city," says Gift Festus, with Immanuel Fellowship. "It's a music concert that will bring the people of all walks of life, denominations, people both saved and unsaved, together in one space."
The theme of the event is 'Come and See,' which is taken from a verse in John chapter one.
"That's what we're saying to people, come and see Jesus," says Oluwafemi Awopegba, also with the church. "It's a program where we expect the miraculous. Everyone in this city is invited. There's space and room for you in our venue."
This event has the focus of pointing all things back to God as the Saviour, not lifting people up on a pedestal.
"The whole goal is to revive the hearts of the believers and also to be able to get the unsaved to embrace the very love of Christ. We want to draw men to God and spread the good news of God's love."
The free concert is happening on Friday, Feb. 21, 2025, from 7-9 p.m. at 479 St. Mary's Road and is open to all.
