For anyone who'd like to help nameĀ  RCMP puppies, now is your chance.

The RCMP's Name the Puppy contest is currently open for Canadian youth aged 4 to 14, where they can propose names for some of the RCMP's newest puppies.

Children from every province and territory in Canada can take part in the contest and send them creative names which reflect the role the dogs will have as Police Service Dogs.

As part of the contest, the RCMP is looking for puppy names that begin with the letter 'A', must be no more than 9 letters long, and must be only one or two syllables.

Each year they choose 13 winners, which will be listed on the RCMP website.

Name submissions can only be made online, and each person can only suggest one name.
