This weekend the Agra Risk Wheatland Kings return to the ice to begin the second round of playoffs against the Medicine Hat Cubs.
Cole Tweit is the top scorer for the Kings with 46 points and has been with the team for three years.
"My first year I was towards the bottom of the team, the next year I was in the middle of the pack, and this year I'm at the top," said Tweit.
The forward says that he's grown more mature over the years, which has led to an improvement in his performance. Tweit believes that this is a microcosm of the team's success.
"The older kids really take the younger kids under their wing and show them what it takes in order to win in this league," added Tweit. "The entire team has a great attitude about winning, and they want to win."

The Kings have home-ice advantage over the Cubs, with their first game taking place on Saturday evening in Strathmore.
"The Cubs are a good hockey team, but we know that we are a deeper team overall, and we know that if we can work hard and play our game, we'll have no problem beating them."
Tweit has scored a total of 35 goals with the Kings since he began playing for them in the 2022-23 season.
